Is Permanent makeup safe?
Generally, PMU is considered safe. Just like traditonal tattoos, there is always a risk of adverse reactions, infection, etc. Please rest assured that I take cleanliness very seriously. I use single-use items that will be discarded after each individual client/appointment, and for the items I can't dispose of (PMU Machine, etc.), they will be properly cleaned/disinfected/sanitized. I am trained in infection/disease control and I am trained how to properly clean/disinfect/sanitize.
How are powder brows different from microblading?
Powder brows and microblading are both popular techniques used in semi-permanent makeup for eyebrows, but they differ in their application method and final appearance.
Microblading involves using a small handheld tool with fine needles to create thin, hair-like strokes on the eyebrows.
The Powder Brow method uses a pen like tattoo machine that involves depositing pigment into the skin using a machine that creates a soft, powdered effect, resembling the look of filled-in eyebrows with makeup powder.
How long do powder brows last?
Powder brows typically last between 1-3 years, varying based on factors like skin type, body chemistry, life style, smoking, sun exposure, skincare routine, and aftercare. Regular touch-ups every 12-18 months are recommended for maintaining color intensity and shape.
Pictures will be required to determine if you need a touchup or can go for a longer time period before getting one.
What is included in the price?
The price includes:
-Consultation
-Mapping session to get a presonalized brow shape
-Topical numbing
